July Food Drive: We CAN Make a Difference

If you're coming to the practice during the month of July, consider bringing a non-perishable food item to add to the Team CMMD Annual Food Drive! This drive benefits the Lord's Pantry and the Coventry Pantry, two organizations fighting hunger right here in Chester County.

Chester County's beauty – and bounty – may make it hard for residents, and certainly visitors, to believe that there is poverty and hunger among us. But in Chester County, 625 people are experiencing homelessness on any given night. And as of November 2015, on any given day in Chester County, 70,000 people are food insecure, and one in five children go to bed hungry.

Help Team CMMD fight this hunger by contributing to our food drive! We'll collect food July 1–July 31. Canned goods and other non-perishable food items can be dropped off all month in the foyer of the practice. Your donations will be added to a large August drop-off of food to the aforementioned pantries. With your help, we look forward to taking a big bite out of hunger in our county.
