About Katie

Katie Smollon, CRNP earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from James Madison University in 2009. Her professional journey began in the pediatric intensive care unit at Children’s National Medical Center, where she accumulated four years of valuable experience. Driven by a passion for comprehensive patient care, she pursued advanced education, earning a Master’s of Nursing from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2014. During her graduate studies, she had the privilege of contributing to nursing education in a state-of-the-art clinical simulation lab, collaborating with undergraduate nursing students. Post-graduation, she focused on women’s health, practicing for five years in the Urogynecology setting.

Katie is thrilled to be practicing in primary care and helping her patients achieve their health goals. She has a passion for preventative medicine and women’s health, and believes a trusting relationship between the patient and clinician is the key to successful health outcomes.

Katie resides in Wayne with her husband and three children. She enjoys family and friend time, exercising, and spending time outside in the sunshine.
